Powered by awesome music and inspirational motivation, DMF will drive you through 50 minutes of heart pumping cardio and strength exercise that will leave you feeling empowered, strong, and HAPPY!  After all, if it’s not fun, it’s not worth it!  Created by Lindi Duesenberg, a leading NYC fitness instructor and dancer known for her motivation and mind/body approach to wellness, DMF has something for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level.


Lindi and the amazing DMF team will guide you through easy to follow dance sequences and exercises to a wide range of high energy music, providing modifications for those with limitations and challenges for those that want to kick it up a notch!


DMF is not just a workout, it is an experience.  The goal of each class is for EVERY client to leave the room feeling better than when they arrived. DMF is the only dance-fitness class that provides inspirational coaching throughout the workout, allowing you to dig deeper, push harder, and discover new possibilities for your body, mind, and soul.

Why DMF?

DMF is one of the only dance-based workout where the instructor will be on a microphone, guiding and motivating you every step of the way. Music is a HUGE part of the DMF experience. Every single song has its own choreography that works with the dynamics of the music. We don’t just turn on a song and do aerobics, we plan every playlist and dance sequence to create a crazy-fun, sweat-generating workout. You don’t need to be a dancer to take a DMF class! DMF is tailored so that everyone, despite age, fitness level, or coordination level can have fun and get their sweat on. If you are on the wrong foot, who cares! If you shake your booty the wrong way, who cares! As long as you can move, sweat, and have the ability to laugh at yourself, you will get a great workout!


Our bodies are meant to move and be free. Dance is natural, despite whether you think you are good at it or not. Look at a child who hears a good beat; they dance! It is one of the first ways we move and express ourselves. Around the world, dance is a central part of daily life. Dance is used to celebrate, exercise, emote, socialize and much more. Essentially, dance is an integral part of living. However, in our society, moving the “right” way has become more important to many of us than just having a blast and letting go of inhibitions. Someone may have that you look stupid or that you were embarrassing yourself. You probably put up some walls and said “I will never dance in public”. Well, at DMF it is about pure fun and letting go of the fear of looking stupid; trust me we will all look a little “silly” from time-to-time and that’s OK! Humor is a good thing, right? Life frees up and becomes much more enjoyable when you can strip yourself of the fear of failure and the fear of “looking” a certain way and just start LIVING. Dancing makes your soul happy!
