Lindi’s passion for dance began as a toddler and drove her to pursue a career as a professional dancer and educator. She has worked and studied with some of the best in the business and has performed in music videos, industrials, and musical theatre productions and tours around the country.
She has served as a judge for several national dance competitions and choreographed in LA and NYC. Although she loved performing, Lindi has always found teaching to be her true calling. Motivating and inspiring clients to believe in their abilities and live life to the fullest is one of Lindi’s greatest passions. Her teaching style focuses not just on achieving your fitness goals, but also on finding joy and wellness in all aspects of life. Her classes always focus on how you feel rather than how you look, and will provide you with a blast of encouragement, inspiration and fun.
Lindi created DMF because she found herself wanting a cardio workout in which the movement wasn’t overly repetitive and jarring. Because of past dance injuries, the repetitive nature of spinning and running just didn’t work for Lindi. Other dance workouts were fun, but left her wanting more out of the experience. She wanted to create a class in which the instructor just didn’t stand in the front of the room and demonstrate. She wanted a class where the instructor actually taught and interacted with the clients, providing needed motivation and inspiration. She wanted a place where awesome music from a vast array of genres would drive the workout. And so, DMF was created!
Anna Hudgins began dancing at a very early age and quickly realized that this was her passion. She trained for over 16 years before furthering her education in Philadelphia, studying nutrition and exercise testing at the University of Sciences and graduating with a BFA with honors in Jazz Dance Performance from the University of the Arts. Her dance career has taken her from coast to coast, dancing with companies in Los Angeles, performing on cruise ships overseas, choreographing for studios across the country, and more recently, singing and dancing in musical theater productions on the East Coast. Anna’s passion for dance is something she loves to share. Having taught dance for over 10 years, she truly believes that there is no greater feeling than changing people’s lives through movement. No matter a clients age or dance experience, Anna strives to create a classroom environment that is safe and stress free. One where you can let your hair down, laugh at yourself, and dance like no one is watching, all while getting an amazing work out.
She is so ecstatic to be a part of the DMF team, helping clients get happy and fit one dance at a time!
Aly Giampolo started dancing when she was just three years old and has not stopped since. She received her early training at some of the best schools in Pennsylvania, as well as in numerous specialty programs across the US. Aly received a BA in Dance Performance at Rider University’s College of the Arts. Aly is a member of Vissi Dance Theater, a NYC based urban contemporary company, and has performed throughout NYC and abroad. She is grateful to be a part of the DMF team where she hopes to motivate clients to to embrace their strength and silliness through dance fitness!
